First d&d-related novel. Crystal Shard from Icewind Dale Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore. I remember this one pretty well. Despite the fact that the quality of writing of Salvatore is rather questionable (IMHO) I really like this one and the rest of the trilogy. ID Trilogy is for my how a good Forgotten Realms Campaign should look like.

First non-d&d game. During the time I've started roleplaying Warhammer FRP (1st ed.) was the most popular rpg in Poland. So apart playing AD&D 2nd ed. I was playing as much or even mor WFRP. It used to by my favourite campaign setting. I really liked the grim and gritty tone of this game. However I didn't like the system at all - especially talent-skill mess.
First gamer who annoyed me. One of my best friends. I have a group of friends from my junior high period. We used to game in a pub while in the junior high. This one always wanted to play, but as much as I liked him, he was a very disturbing gamer. All the time he was trying to steal things, rape tavern wenches and kill important PCs. After a few instances of such behavior, we were only meeting him to drink beer ans such.
