the mistake most people make when modeling horses is that they make the horse too SMALL ... even a 'little' 14 hand 800 lb / 350kg pony is FOUR times the size of an average man. ... this is NOT criticism professional sculptors often make the same error .. in my photo I am 150lbs and Gus is 1200 lbs (8 times my size)
