The first dungeon I've played as a player, was a kind of sewer-crawl, we were cleaning town's sewers as a penalty for robbing one of the most influential burghers. We got killed by a troll covered in shit.
As for the first dungeon I've run, It was also around 14 years ago, IIRC it was a lair full of bugbears and goblins, nothing really special.
